Originally built as a car ferry by Blount Marine Corporation in 1967 named as for ABNAKI (1967-c.80) Service on Lake Champlain in Vermont, it was sold in 1971 and sailed off the lake and through the Panama Canal to Ketchikan, Alaska to serve the cities airport until being replaced 30 years later. Since 2001 the vessel has been serving as Burrad Queen, the most iconic boat rentals Vancouver service.
